In March, Story Time at the Manchester Library will be moving to Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. Youth Outreach Specialist Deborah will host weekly Story Time for young children and parents or caregivers, featuring read-aloud stories, songs, motion activities, crafts, and more. Reading aloud to young children prepares them to succeed in school, helps develop language skills, and fosters a love of reading. The schedule change from Monday mornings to Tuesday evenings was made after conducting a survey of parents of young children in the Manchester area. For more information, call Deborah at 937-386-0092.
Story Time is offered at the North Adams Library with Julia at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, at the Peebles Library on Sherry at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesdays, and at the West Union Library with Tara at 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays. Call your local library to learn more. Pick up a full schedule of each month’s activities for all ages at the library desk. Lists of new books and DVDs for the current month are also available at the desk.
