BookMyne – Search the Catalog
The Library Catalog is available as a free mobile app for iOS and Android smartphones and tablet. BookMyne allows you to search for items, place requests, and manage your account on your mobile device with an easy-to-use app. Download BookMyne from the iTunes app store or the Google Play app store. BookMyne is not currently available for Kindle devices.
Install BookMyne, and search for your local library by name, or let BookMyne show you a list of the closest library locations. Select your home library, or add multiple library locations to the app. Log in with your library card number and PIN to view your checkouts, holds, fines, and account information.
Search the catalog by keyword, browse a list of results, and place holds on titles that interest you. Touch any title to see more detailed information, including which library locations have that item available now. To search for a specific book or movie, use the scanner tool to scan an ISBN with your device’s camera, to quickly find that item in the library catalog.

OverDrive – eBooks and Audio Books
The OverDrive Media App is a free app for Android and iOS that allows you to read eBooks and listen to audio books you download from the Ohio Digital Library. The OverDrive app will open EPUB ebooks and MP3 audio books and music. When you launch the OverDrive app for the first time, register with a free OverDrive ID, and choose the Ohio Digital Library from the list of available libraries to get started. Using a Kindle Fire? Nook – Read Magazines
The Barnes & Noble Nook app allows you to read magazines you download from the Ohio Digital Library Newsstand. The Nook app is free for Android and iOS. It is also possible to install it on Kindle devices. Ask your local library branch for help with step-by-step instructions for loading the Nook app on a Kindle device.
Kindle – Read eBooks
If you have a Kindle eReader, you don’t need to install an app to start downloading and reading ebooks from the Ohio Digital Library. Simply select eBooks in the Kindle format from the Ohio Digital Library, and the eBooks you borrow will download to your Kindle from Amazon. If you’re using an Android or iOS device, you can still borrow eBooks in the Kindle format by installing the free Kindle app. Just log in with your Amazon account, and your device will now be able to receive Kindle-format eBooks from Amazon or the Ohio Digital Library.
Install the free BiblioBoard app to your mobile device to browse, search, and download content from the library. Log in with your library card to access graphic novels, local history journal Ohio Southland, self-published fiction, and thousands of public domain documents from around the world, including fiction and nonfiction, music, images, video, and much more. Everything in BiblioBoard is available to keep indefinitely in your app, and doesn’t have to be returned. Download the BiblioBoard app from the iTunes App Store or the Google Play app store.
