The Adams County Public Library congratulates Raymond Dunn, Holly Schumacher, and Andrew Wilson on their recent promotion to full time library clerks. Raymond works at the Peebles Library, Holly at the Manchester Library, and Andrew at the West Union Library. The three assume responsibility for programming events at the Peebles, Manchester, and West Union Libraries, including this year’s Summer Reading program.
All three have worked at the Adams County Public Library since 2016, and we’re excited to have them begin managing the library’s events, along with North Adams Library programmer Julia McCane-Knox, under the supervision of Enrichment Services Coordinator Natosha Massie. Stop by to meet them during Story Time or another weekly library event.
We want to thank our long-time beloved programmers Sherry Thompson at the Peebles Library and Tara Dryden at the West Union Library for all the years of encouraging young readers, as they take on new titles and responsibilities in the library. Tara Dryden adds the role of Deputy Fiscal Officer to her title of West Union Library Team Leader, and Sherry Thompson becomes the Peebles Library Team Leader, as long-time librarian Robyn Ritz retires May 31. We also thank Youth Outreach Specialist Deborah Cumberledge for her dedication in programming for the Manchester Library, in addition to the many programs she provides for Outreach clients around Adams County. Stop by to say hello to Sherry, Tara, and Deborah working to serve you at your local library.
