Donelle Lacy Art Show

The Mt. Orab campus of Southern State Community College is hosting a display of art created by library employee and illustrator Donelle Lacy. On October 22, from 5:00 til 7:00 p.m., stop by the Mt. Orab campus to meet the artist during an opening reception.

Donelle Lacy is an Adams County native, and works at the Manchester and West Union Library. She teaches drawing skills and art history to students during Teen Art Class at the West Union Library every other week. Donelle earned her Master of Fine Art in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, and her Bachelor of Fine Art in drawing from Shawnee State University.

Donelle specializes in fantasy illustration, and her show at SSCC will feature ink illustrations and digital art, including some fan art for Doctor Who. Her current project under development is an underwater fantasy coloring book. See examples of Donelle’s work at her website. The show featuring Donelle’s illustrations will be on display at SSCC’s Mt. Orab campus through December.
