Friends of the North Adams Library
The Friends of the North Adams Library were instrumental in helping to build the new North Adams Public Library building on Moores Road in Seaman. The new building, located next to the high school and Adams County Regional Medical Center, opened in October 2013 and serves the Seaman, Winchester, and Cherry Fork areas. Stop by the new library, and see a list of donors that have helped support the Friends and the new library, acknowledged by name in the lobby.
Friends of the North Adams Library sponsor a military brick tribute project, installed by the surrounding the flagpole in front of the North Adams Library, to honor United States service members. Anyone who wishes to honor a U.S. service member or veteran can sponsor a military tribute brick, inscribed with the service member’s name, branch, and dates of service, to be installed under the flagpole. For more information, contact Adams County Veterans Services at 937-544-5005, or reach the Friends of the North Adams Library by calling the North Adams Library at 937-386-2556. To sponsor a military tribute brick, complete this form and submit it to the Friends of the North Adams Library.
