Library Services
Remember we offer a variety of services at all Adams County Public Library branches! You can use one of our public computers, which includes internet access and printing services or try Grab-n-Go, which includes browsing for library materials, making copies, and sending faxes. Limited walk-ins are available to the public depending on space availability at the time of arrival. However, to guarantee your spot at one of our branches, please make an appointment by calling your local library. Appointments and walk-ins are both limited to 60 minutes per day per family/individual, and everyone aged 2 and older will be required to wear a mask at all times in the building. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you at no charge.

Library Program Spotlight
No wi-fi? No problem! Remember that the Adams County Public Library now has T-Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspots you can borrow using your library card. Adults, ages 18 and up, can check out these devices for up to two weeks, enabling you to work remotely, access telehealth services, and participate in remote learning. Stop by your local library branch today to learn more or place one of these hotspots on hold using our online catalog. This service is made possible by a grant from the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), which partnered with Facebook and T-Mobile to help address the region’s digital divide.

Remember, all Adams County Public Library locations offer a weekly Curbside After School Meal Program for children, ages 18 and under. Each child will receive a bag of seven balanced meals for the week, which children, as well as parents and caregivers, can pick up. These free meals are available for pickup from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pick up locations and days are listed below:

West Union Library: Mondays
Peebles Library: Tuesdays
North Adams Library: Wednesdays
Manchester Library: Thursdays

To pick up your meals, please call the library upon your arrival and state the child’s name. The meals for this program are provided by the Children’s Hunger Alliance.
