Make a LEGO Stop Motion Movie

STEM Saturday is happening all month during April! Bring your favorite LEGO minifigures or builds, or bring action figures or other favorite small toys, and direct your own stop motion mini-movie. We’ll provide the camera and the software, and you direct and create your masterpiece. We’ll finish up by saving your stop-motion short film to flash drive, or your Google Drive account. Parents and kids can sign up in advance for a 60-minute appointment at your nearest library. If you’d like to work together with a friend, simply sign up for both people. There are no age requirements for this activity. Appointments are available all week during afternoons, evenings, and on Saturday at your local library. The HUE Animation Studio will visit the West Union Library April 2 – 7, the Peebles Library April 9 – 14, the North Adams Library April 16 – 21, and the Manchester Library April 23 – 28.

This event is April’s STEM Saturday, sponsored by Guiding Ohio Online, a grant awarded by the State Library of Ohio. HUE Animation Studio provided by SWON Libraries Consortium.
