STEM Saturday: DIY Stop Motion Movie

Join us for STEM Saturday in February to make your own stop-motion animated movie at the library. We’ll provide some LEGO sets, and you can bring action figures or any other small toy to star in your stop-motion movie. Once you’ve recorded your adventure, save the movie to a flash drive or to your online Google Drive or other service to take it with you. Call ahead for an appointment to use the library’s HUE Animation Studio with one of our technology trainers.

To sign up or learn more, call your local library. Join Andrew at the Peebles Library on Saturday, February 2, Sabrena at the North Adams Library on Mondays after school on February 4 and 11, and Michael at the Manchester Library on Saturday February 16. STEM Saturdays are a monthly series of hands-on science and technology activities for ages 8 and up at the Adams County Public Library. STEM Saturdays are sponsored by Guiding Ohio Online, an IMLS LSTA grant awarded by the State Library of Ohio.
