Mammogram – Doctors use a mammogram to look for early signs of breast cancer. Regular mammograms are the best tests doctors have to find breast cancer early, sometimes up to three years before it can be felt. Please call the Adams County Health Department at 937-544-5547 to schedule your mammogram. Screenings will take place at ACRMC.
Comprehensive Blood Screening – A simple, affordable way to take charge of your health. This screening includes Glucose, BUN, Creatinine, Albumin, Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Carbon Dioxide, Calcium, T. Protein, T. Bilirubin, ALT, AST, Alkaline Phosphatase, Cholesterol, Triglycerides, LDL, HDL, TSH, CBC, HgbA1C for $35.00. Testosterone screening will also be available for $12.00.
Blood Pressure Screening – A test that measures the pressure in one’s arteries as one’s heart pumps. One might have a blood pressure test as a part of a routine screening for high blood pressure (hypertension). This service is offered at no cost. An appointment is not needed for this screening.
Bone Density – An x-ray exam that determines the amount of calcium and other minerals in the bones. The greater the number, the better. The test is useful for determining if an individual has osteoporosis, and can tell doctors how advanced the condition is and what treatment to propose. An appointment is not needed for this screening.
This event is sponsored by Adams County Regional Medical Center, Adams County Medical Foundation, and the Adams County Health Department.
